About Emotional Trauma Healing:
If you’ve experienced an extremely stressful or disturbing event that’s left you feeling helpless and emotionally out of control, you may have been traumatized. Emotional or psychological trauma can leave you struggling with upsetting emotions, memories, and anxiety that won’t go away. It can also leave you feeling numb, disconnected, and unable to trust other people. When bad things happen, it can take a while to get over the pain and feel safe again. But with these self-help strategies and support, you can speed your recovery. Whether the trauma happened years ago or yesterday, you can make healing changes and move on with your life.
Emotional and psychological trauma is the result of extraordinarily stressful events that shatter your sense of security, making you feel helpless in a dangerous world. Traumatic experiences often involve a threat to life or safety, but any situation that leaves you feeling overwhelmed and isolated can be traumatic, even if it doesn’t involve physical harm. It’s not the objective facts that determine whether an event is traumatic, but your subjective emotional experience of the event. The more frightened and helpless you feel, the more likely you are to be traumatized.
Emotional trauma can be caused by one-time events (accident, injury, natural disaster, violent attack, intentional cruelty in words or action, abuse physically or sexually ), relentless stress (on-going stress, unstable or unsafe living environment, battling threatening illness, living with difficult house mates, dealing with abusive personnel), and commonly overlooked causes (surgery, instrusive medical procedures, separation, death of someone, breakup of significant relationship, humiliating or deeply disappointing experience).
The emotional symptoms manifest as shock, denial, disbelief, confusion, difficulty in concentrating, anger, irritability, mood swings, anxiety, fear, guilt, shame, self-blame, withdrawing from others, feeling sad or hopeless, feeling disconnected or numb. The physical symptoms include insomnia, nightmares, fatigue, being startled easily, racing heart beat, edginess and agitation, aches & pains, muscle tension.
Traumatic events can happen to anyone, but if one is already under a heavy stress load, or have suffered earlier trauma before, it can increase the risk of future trauma. Experiencing trauma in childhood can have a longer-lasting effect as a sense of gear and helplessness carries into adulthood, setting the stage for further trauma.
How SVH session can help
In this session, we will do vocal toning with the voice and pleasant vibrations to open up to your self and social engagements. We will be doing deep breathing exercises, to help you self-regulate your nervous system and ground so that you can get stable and calm. We will also have a sound therapy meditation, where you can relax and go into a deep theta relaxation state, and release your negative feelings. While you don’t have to talk about the trauma, we can acknowledge the feelings as they arise, accept and release them.
We will use SVH quantum reprogramming to go after the seeds and foundation that caused the trauma, to sweep through your life for incidences that contributed or added to the trauma, release limitations that impede your personal soverignty, create new patterns of safety, heal broken relationships and free you from the trauma and effects of trauma. The healing profiles will go after not just this point in time, but deliver deep healing to other times in your life to heal from within.
